Ensuring trouble-free fuel
Velcon Filters, of Colorado Springs and Cla-Val, of Costa Mesa, have announced a new refuelling product.

The innovation consists of the Velcon Contaminant Analyser, which is integrated with a Cla-Val control valve. Velcon's VCA instrument is designed to analyse fuels for the presence of water and solid contaminants. The new product has the ability to automatically shut off flow at the control valve when either the water or solid contaminant concentration passes a preset threshold.

The VCA instrument is integrated with the outlet of the Cla-Val flow control valve body in order to facilitate installation and ease of use within an existing pipe or fuel line. An industry standard, the VCA has been extensively field tested, along with the Cla-Val control valve. The combination of these two products should extend the versatility and custom ability of the VCA and give quality control and reliability to any type of fuel system.
