Co-operation signed for e-freight
Lufthansa Cargo and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) have signed up to even closer co-operation.

Together with the top industry association, the air cargo subsidiary in the Lufthansa Group hosted the initial meeting in Frankfurt at the launch of the IATA e-freight project in Germany. The meeting initiated a further trial phase of the IATA worldwide initiative aimed at eliminating the need to transport paper documents for air cargo shipments. Lufthansa Cargo will take over project management in Germany and oversee the effective implementation of the necessary processes by all the stakeholders in the logistics supply chain.
