Shanghai training for de-icer staff
Kilfrost has delivered an in-depth product and operations training programme in Shanghai to more than 70 ground handling staff from China Eastern Airlines.

Specifically developed for China Eastern Airlines, the successful programme was designed to train attendees in the effective use of de/anti-icing solutions for aircraft on the ground.

The training programme underlines the success of Kilfrost’s operations in China, which it established in 2010. Kilfrost’s Beijing office now houses a full service team, including sales and technical support. In 2011, 76% of Kilfrost’s sales were made overseas, with significant growth in demand from the Chinese market.

Gary Lydiate, CEO of Kilfrost, said: “The fact that China Eastern Airlines has entrusted this important training programme to our Beijing team is proof that our decision to build a team with local knowledge of the Chinese airline industry was the right one. We are proud and delighted to work with China Eastern on this important training schedule. By working together it enhances all our capabilities.”
