The 6th Asian Ground Handling International Conference
For our 2013 Asian Conference we have chosen the Philippines. The venue, that of the luxurious Mactan Resort and Spa, is sited in Lapu Lapu City on the exotic island of Mactan, which is very close to Cebu and linked by two bridges. The hotel itself offers a wide range of activities to its guests, including racquet sports, yoga, cookery and golf. Originally a Muslim settlement, the island was colonised by the Spanish back in the 1500s. Today, this densely populated island is home to a wealth of flora and fauna that is sure to delight any visitor. Basically a coral island, Mactan provides ample opportunities for water sports and is an ideally situated base for any delegates wishing to further explore the beautiful Philippine archipelago.
