New GSE combination aims at greater efficiency
In a challenging economic environment, businesses are looking for solutions to enhance their competitiveness.

GSE Holdings has, it believes, come up with a solution that not only combines the resources of several industry- leading companies but also streamlines services into one cohesive front.

Rick Hansen, Vice President and General Manager of GSE Americas, is extremely positive about the establishment of Hobart Ground Systems, a combination of Hobart Ground Power, Trilectron/Air-A-Plane, ITW Military GSE and J&B Aviation, along with their engineering, design, sales and service teams. The net result is a total systems solution for the commercial and military aviation ground support industries.

“We are pleased to be working together to establish a more unified front for our customers,” commented Rick Hansen. “We have a proven track record with the design and implementation of innovative solutions for ground support equipment to service the aerospace industry.” After careful deliberation and analysis, the four companies have come together to create a single, substantive business.

“Hobart Ground Systems has the track record, expertise and background to provide improved solutions for our customers worldwide,” he adds. “Each of these formerly separate companies has developed new products for launch over the next few months. We have the talent and technology to make this new and improved company the leader in power and PC air solutions to the industry.”

Separately, GSE Holdings, a subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works, has relocated Hobart Ground Power to an expanded facility in Palmetto, Florida. Combining to become Hobart Ground Systems, the facility currently houses Trilectron Industries and ITW Military GSE.
