De-icing management system for Iberia
Iberia has developed a new aircraft de-icing management system, which it believe has placed the company in the vanguard of he most specialised providers of de-icing services. TLD continues its expansion in China
TLD recently announced the official opening of its new facility in Wuxi, China, for the manufacture of airfreight loaders, pushback tractors and other airport ground support equipment. This facility expands the group’s global manufacturing footprint in Europe, America and Asia, and complements the factory already existing in Shanghai, and has the intention of meeting increased customer demand in China and other Asia-Pacific markets.

Uniform approach to recycling in Paris
Air France has revealed that it is organising a collection of used ground staff and crew uniforms at Paris Orly and Paris Charles de Gaulle airports. This new eco-friendly operation began in January and was set to run until mid-March. All the uniforms collected in this manner from the staff concerned will subsequently be recycled as car insulation material at a specialised processing plant. Click here for full details.
